It's cold today!

I woke up this moring and the wind was whipping around the house. I knew right then it was going to be a cold morning. Figures. We were all signed up to do the 1 mile Red Ribbon Walk in Hyde Park. So, we put on multiple layers, and off we went. It really wasn't too bad, even when we got snowed on at the end....Welcome to Utah, Mom.

Abbie and Andrew rode in strollers, so we had to bundle them up pretty good. The t-shirts from the walk came in handy to hide Abbie from the wind. Way to be creative, Sara! Abbie stayed toasty warm and even slept through most of the walk.

Kids are CRAZY!!!

My life is crazy, but uneventful. So I thought I would share some pictures of my crazy kids.

We were eating dinner tonight, and Andrew killed a fly with his hand. He's either really fast or that was one slow fly!!

Austin proves that position is everything!!

Eww! Abbie doesn't quite know what to think of the thing on her high chair.

Look at that cute little crinkle-nosed baby!

Andrew has the curliest hair. This is what it looked like before we got it cut on Saturday.

Ashley seems to hide when I'm taking pictures. That didn't stop me from getting this funny picture of her and her cousin, Grace!

My mom flies out from Pennsylvania tomorrow. We're all excited about that (even if I didn't manage to get my house clean...because of that dang Twilight series!)

The Greatest Show on Earth

To make up for doing absolutely nothing over the summer, I took my kids and sister (helper!) to the circus on Sunday. I remember how much fun I had going when I was a kid, so I wanted my kids to have that same experience. We had a blast!

Abbie had a hard time sitting still for 2 1/2 hours, but we passed her back and forth and kept her entertained. She bopped along to the music and loved the elephants!

Of course, the best part of going to circus is the sugar high! The kids enjoyed cotton candy (yes, even Abbie had a tiny bit). They loved the smores on a stick, as you can see. The boys had chocolate all over their faces when they were done.

We decided we're going to make this a family tradition and go every year (driving in Salt Lake wasn't as bad as I expected!).

Splish Splash

Thought it was time to go ahead and start a blog. I have fun reading them, so thought I might as well give it a try!

Tonight, Abbie had her first bath without the bath seat. She absolutely loved it. I put her in the tub with Andrew, and she was crawling all over him trying to get all the toys so she could chew on each one of them.

Those are some big, blue eyes! Of course, Andrew thought he had to chew on the toys too since his baby sister was doing it! Monkey see, monkey do!!

I can tell Andrew has had fun at daycare when he comes home this filthy!
